Two Sterling Heights Lions Jim Oak and Frank Singer led the way, as the Sterling Heights lions Club sponsored a new wheelchair ramp for a Sterling Heights resident. Father John M. Lynch Knights of Columbus from Clawson helped design and build the ramp. We’re happy to be a part of a great collaboration effort for the community.
How about a fun evening with some great people?
Did you know… your local Lions and Lioness clubs are always having interesting and fun events?
What’s the catch you ask?
Well here it is, you come to one of our events, have a great time and you meet some new people in your community or in a nearby community who are raising money for all sorts of different charities and you have the satisfaction of knowing that the money you spend will go to a worthy cause!
How does that sound to you so far? Interested in learning more?
If you are, that’s great! Check out our site and see what we are all about, then check out our calendar to see what’s going on in the area. That’s not all! Keep checking the calendar on a regular basis events are being added all the time. At any given time you can find everything from blood drives, vendor shows, arts and crafts, all you can eat breakfasts, dinner mysteries and much, much more.
Feel free to go to one of their meetings, don’t be shy, go and check out one of the largest and oldest services organizations around, your local Lions club.
